As a semi-professional figure skater, Ann-Marie knows how to choreograph a successful routine not only on the ice, but with her clients. She was also an ice skating instructor which taught her how to communicate and educate all different age groups, at all different levels. That skill has transcended as a benefit to her clients whether she’s teaching a 401k committee about fiduciary responsibility or speaking to an employee about saving for retirement.
Her career in the financial services industry spans over two decades. She was an officer at First Union Bank in Miami and later managed her own tax-consulting firm, which focused on corporate tax accounting services. Ann-Marie then hung up her CPA hat and joined Raymond James & Associates as a financial advisor serving both corporate retirement plans and individual clients. She joined The Noble Group in 2006 to serve as manager of our Corporate Retirement Plan team.
Ann-Marie is committed to using her expertise in developing a high touch service platform for our clients and is constantly looking for new ways to add value to our loyal client base. Additionally, she works on developing strategic marketing initiatives to attract new clients. Ann-Marie strives to deliver an honest, detailed approach to implementing Best Practices in their retirement plans. She currently advises on more than $1 billion in assets, serving as a 3(21) fiduciary to her plans. She is also a member of The Noble Group 401(k) Investment Committee which allows her to gain perspective on what it’s like to be a fiduciary to an employer plan.
A graduate of the University of Tampa, Ann-Marie received a B.A accounting and economics. She is a native Bostonian who now lives in Sugar Land, TX. You can find her trying new restaurants around town, actively volunteering at several charitable organizations, or spending time with family and friends. She doesn’t get to lace up those skates anymore but you better believe she can still choreograph her way to success for the employers and employees she represents.
What do you get when you mix carpe diem with a coffee addict? Terry Colgrove. Terry is an enthusiast who lives in the moment and anyone who knows him will say that being around him will liven up your day. His positive attitude radiates onto our clients, giving them the service they deserve.
In our Dallas office, Terry works as a client service manager for our Retirement Plan Consulting & Wealth Management divisions. Having experience in client relations and office management, he uses his skills and drive to ensure that every client feels like they are part of The Noble Group family.
Terry is a born and raised Texan and currently lives in Dallas. He enjoys working with the homeless, spending time with his children and eating good ole’ Tex Mex.
She may be a native of New Orleans but Janine is no fierce swamp gator! She brings her fun-loving attitude to the office and carries it forward to our clients. We couldn't image living without the responsiveness and support we receive from Janine.
Janine joined The Noble Group in 2008 after working in similar positions at Invesco, American Funds and NEXT Financial. Today you can find her cheerfully answering questions she receives from both employers and employees. But the unique thing about Janine is that she doesn’t just answer the question- she follows through, making sure that the answer is understood and the issue is resolved. Clients have applauded her for her follow-up and friendliness- she makes them feel like they are a part of our Noble Group family.
Janine lives in Houston with her son, Joseph and volunteers her time at youth sports activities. She enjoys a friendly game of cards with friends and spending time with her family. Now if only we could get her to make some homemade crawfish étoufee for the office!
For more than half his life, Joey has been a giver and teacher. Whether volunteering as a camp counselor for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, preparing school lunches at the Houston Food Bank or teaching young children gymnastics (yes, he can do a back flip on demand), those who know Joey know he has a huge, caring heart. So caring about his clients is something that comes naturally to him.
The Noble Group was lucky enough to hire Joey as an intern and see him develop over the years into an advisor who works with both corporate retirement plans and individual clients. Although 2 separate types of clients, his skill in effective communication alongside a high touch, individualized service model assists both types.
Joey resides in his hometown of Sugar Land, TX with his wife, Callie. He holds the Series 7 and 66 investment licenses as well as a general insurance license. Joey continuously manages our investment review process and participates in creating our proprietary investment strategies. He is an innovator and is always thinking of different ways to be a value-add to his clients.
The Speed of Trust by Stephen Covey, one of Juan’s favorite books, centers on a quote by Warren Buffet- “Trust is like the air we breathe. When it’s present, no one really notices. But when it’s absent, everyone notices.” This notion of trust is something that Juan has embraced and strives to build as the foundation for his client relationships at The Noble Group.
Juan joined our team in 2014 after spending the previous eight years in various financial service positions. He began his career here as a Client Services Manager to our Retirement Plan Consulting division. He quickly realized that he wanted to do more with clients. So he obtained the necessary financial services licenses, earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and did one even better- earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional certification (CFP®)- all to join the talented group of financial advisors on our team. He works with both corporate retirement plans and individual clients, building relationships centered on trust. Juan embraces the Noble Group philosophy of “Plan Well. Live Well.”, by creating financial plans for individuals and families. He is bilingual in English and Spanish which serves as an additional level of trust for his Spanish speaking clients.
Juan was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, was a competitive swimmer, competing at the national level and one of the most memorable moments in his life was becoming a U.S. citizen. After moving to the United States, he attended and graduated from Texas Tech University. Now, when he’s not volunteering his time with several charitable organizations, he is ready to dive in and help keep your finances a float!

Ben Franklin discovered electricity. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. And Da Vinci created models that were workable 500 years later. All great inventors of their time. Just as Edison, Franklin and Da Vinci paved the way for Americans today, Tom Noble, The Noble Group founder and President, is helping to pave the way for the retirement plan industry- Tom’s goal is to advance best practices for employer retirement plans while keeping the best interests of each employee first. The Noble Purpose. A purpose that every employee of the Noble Group embraces and practices today.
Never letting anything get in his way, Tom built his business from the ground up and eventually founded The Noble Group in 1996. Prior to that, Tom had a successful career as an investment advisor representative beginning with Thomson, McKinnon Inc. in Lafayette, LA. In 1989, he and his family relocated to Houston, Texas. As Tom continued to build his corporate client base, he began to recognize the company’s needs for guidance in retirement plans as well as all aspects of human resources and employee benefits.
His career in the financial services industry spans over three decades. Not only does he serve as our President, he is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), demonstrating his ability to implement best practices for employers and their plans. Always striving to be an innovator, Tom currently advises on more than $1 billion in assets, encompassing over 120 corporate retirement plans that he can formally sign on to as a 3(21) fiduciary. Furthermore, he is a trustee for The Noble Group 401(k) plan and is a member of the investment committee.
A graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, Tom received a B.A. in economics and psychology. He currently lives in Sugar Land, Texas with his wife, Kimberly and has two children, Britton and Nicholas. Tom’s jack-of-all-trades mentality doesn’t stop with The Noble Group. He is involved in many non-profit organizations, having served as a member of the Board of Directors for Fort Bend Cares, a charitable foundation serving underprivileged children. Most days you will either find him working on his tennis swing or spending time with his grandchildren. All while continuing to help pave the way for our client’s and company’s success.
We can literally say Paul is on a mission. You can often find him and his wife working with their local high school ministry dedicating their personal time to the education of our youth. And when he’s not involved with church, you can find Paul on a mission to serve his clients with the attitude of “Clients First”.
His career in the financial services industry spans over two decades. Prior to joining our team, Paul ran his own retirement plan advisory practice. He joined The Noble Group in 2010, bringing his extensive knowledge of corporate retirement plans and wealth management with him.
Applying “Clients First” as his motto, Paul delivers a comprehensive and detailed service platform for our clients and is constantly looking for new ways to add value to our loyal client base. An advisor who works with both Corporate Retirement Plans and individual clients, Paul’s experience alongside a high touch, individualized service model greatly benefits both types. He can act as a 3(21) fiduciary to his plans and holds both the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and the Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®) designations.
Paul earned his B.S. in Accounting from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He resides in the Dallas area with his wife and three daughters. His passion and involvement with his church isn’t just local though, it extends even further to other various missions and foreign aid non-profit organizations around the world; always circling back around and applying that passion to his clients.
Trying to find a marketing guru who understands the complex world of investments and corporate retirement plans is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Well look no further! We were fortunate to find our package deal in Sam.
Sam joined our team in 2015 after spending 4 fast track years at Invesco Investment Services quickly moving from a Client Services Representative to a training mentor to a Team Lead, gaining investment and corporate retirement plan knowledge every step of the way. She brings the same fast pace to our team by continually creating new marketing and branding initiatives. Her eye for detail and creative thinking started at an early age and continued throughout her life as she was a high school cheerleader and Social Chair of her college sorority. Sam even served on Invesco’s cultural committee, Invesco Together, planning corporate events.
A native of San Antonio, TX, Sam earned her Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing from Texas Lutheran University. She resides in Houston but doesn’t stay put often. She enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, Dustin and uses that creative mind to plan her next destination whether by land or sea.
Branch Director of Account Management Retirement Services, RJFS
To say that Cheri “runs the course” would be an understatement. This woman continually overachieves by running so many marathons that we can’t list the exact number- it’s always increasing! But it is safe to say that the number is easily in double digits and when not running another race, she is certainly going the extra miles for our clients.
Cheri joined The Noble Group in 2009 after spending 15 years in the financial services industry at Principal Financial Group. She brings her in-depth knowledge of corporate retirement plans to our team as a lead manager of a group of our retirement plan clients. Working with both employers and their employees, Cheri delivers a customized approach to servicing your plan by focusing on your specific needs. As much as her passion is for running, we can say with conviction that this same passion holds true to her clients. She will always go the distance and finish the race for you.
Cheri lives in Missouri City, TX with her husband, Charlie and their four legged family members. Running in an international marathon is on her bucket list as well as creating her own non-profit organization, Payne’s Paw Project, dedicated to the well-being of animals. She and Charlie are also part of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization serving as mentors to two little sisters who now have three children of their own. A graduate of the University of Iowa in business administration, she holds the appropriate investment licenses as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation. Now grab some running shoes and weights and let Cheri help whip your retirement plan into shape!
What do you get when you combine a lover of the arts with a linguaphile? A creative mind with the ability to communicate... That’s what you will find in Elva.
Elva joined The Noble Group in 2015 working in our Wealth Management area. With her expertise of customer service in the retail industry and financial background from Wells Fargo & RBC Wealth Management, she transitioned into our Retirement Plan Consulting area and works closely with the employers and employees of our retirement plan clients. Her ability to communicate, currently in both English and Spanish, has been a great asset to our clients. The world of investments and planning for retirement is confusing enough without a language barrier! Elva’s ability to speak to someone in their native language certainly helps navigate those perplexing topics.
Born in Laredo, Elva resides in Houston with her daughter. What’s next on her bucket list? You got it- learning more languages with Latin and Russian at the top of the list. But don’t worry, making sure our clients understand the language of finance will always come first and foremost to her.
Many people don’t know this. But for those who have experienced it, Britton has one of the most beautiful singing voices they have ever heard. And now she’s bringing her voice to The Noble Group.
Joining the family business wasn’t necessarily the first thought on Britton’s mind. After graduating from the University of Tulsa with a degree focused in business administration and marketing, she spent time in the marketing field. Comparing her experience there to the reputation of her dad’s business made her soon realize that here is where she could let that beautiful voice be heard.
Britton joined The Noble Group and learned the business from the ground up. She worked as a client service manager and now brings her hands on experience to our clients in her role as a financial advisor. Her focus is in the areas of corporate retirement plans and individual wealth management. She listens attentively to her clients’ needs, comprehends their unique challenges and delivers appropriately tailored individual solutions.
Britton lives in Houston and loves to travel. One of her favorite things to do is spending time with family in upper state New York. Her bucket list includes a trip up the west coast of North America visiting Washington, Alaska and Canada. She is also a fierce tennis player where we can say she is a champion both on and off the court.
David Baldacci, Brian’s favorite author, once said “People who have expertise just love to share it. That’s human nature.” And Brian does just that. Sharing his financial knowledge & expertise is something that Brian embraces and strives to do for his client relationships at The Noble Group.
His career in the financial services industry spans over a decade and The Noble Group was lucky enough to gain Brian on our team in 2017. In those ten years, Brian earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and did one even better- received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP®) certification. He works with both corporate retirement plans and individual clients, building relationships centered on trust. Brian embraces the Noble Group philosophy of “Plan Well. Live Well.”, by creating financial plans for individuals and families. He is bilingual in English and Spanish which serves as an additional level of trust for his Spanish speaking clients.
A graduate of Texas A&M University (Gig Em’ Ags!), Brian majored in Finance and received his BBA. He now lives in Houston, TX with his Longhorn wife, Jessica. When he’s not binging on Tacos A Go Go & Netflix, you can find him volunteering for the Caring Aggies Mentoring Program. Mentoring seems to be a hobby of Brian’s—when he’s not mentoring children, he’s mentoring his clients trying to help get them on the road to achieving their financial goals.
*CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board's of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® () and CFP® () in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board initial and ongoing certification requirements.”
Mary has a green thumb. As a gardener, she knows how important it is to make sure her plants are taken care of so they can continue to grow. This requires close attention to detail and that is exactly what she does from helping our clients set and work towards achieving their growth goals to working with our internal team to improve service quality and performance.
Her career in the financial services industry spans over three decades, including beginning her management career in 1998 and becoming the first female Hispanic branch managers at a major wire-house firm. Mary joined The Noble Group in 2016 and not only is she our Branch Manager but she is also a Financial Advisor serving our Wealth Management clients. She has a thirst for reading financial industry white papers, research, articles and blogs. These have served as the foundation for her independent thinking and approach to advising.
A graduate of the University of Houston, Mary received her BA in Political Science. (That must be why she has such a go-getter attitude!) When she’s not busy using her passion to help grow clients’ portfolios or keeping our office blooming, you can find her traveling and volunteering at numerous nonprofit organizations around the city.
From immersing herself in foreign cultures to spending her free time adventuring near and far, taking in all of the sights, scenery and experiences she can, there’s nothing Lexie enjoys more than embarking on a new adventure. A happy camper— that’s how we would describe Lexie and it’s what she wants our clients to be.
A born and raised Houstonian, Lexie left the Bayou City to attend Texas A&M University (WHOOP!), where she earned her degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish. After graduating, Lexie worked as an executive assistant at NOV (National Oilwell Varco) and then joined our Noble Group team in 2016. She serves as a client service manager for our Wealth Management and Executive Benefits divisions. If you asked her, her biggest adventure yet in life was probably getting her Series 7 license after joining our team… and that’ saying something considering she’s gone on a 5 day trek of Machu Picchu! Having experience in client relations and office management, she uses her skills and drive to ensure that every client feels like they are part of The Noble Group family and that their experience with us is never an adventure.
