A multigenerational East Texan and proud graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, Barry has been happily married to wife Lisa for 35 years. The couple resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and is blessed with two children: daughter Kennedy and son-in-law Matt, both dedicated healthcare professionals, and son Cooper, a successful plumber in the DFW area.

A cancer survivor himself, Barry generously lends his support to the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance when called upon, helping others navigate their journeys with the same resilience he has shown.

Outside of advising clients, Barry draws inspiration from the unique natural beauty of East Texas-its lush Piney Woods forests, and the serene, cypress-draped waters of Caddo Lake. He also spends family time at higher elevation, the mountains of Colorado. These places reinforce the importance of balance and long-term perspective he brings to his clients’ financial lives.
