Director of Strategy & Operations

David Hao serves as Director of Strategy & Operations for The Noble Group, where he partners with firm leadership to advance strategic growth, operational scalability, and disciplined execution. In his role, he leads strategic initiatives, operational improvement efforts, and cross-functional alignment designed to strengthen advisor effectiveness, elevate the client experience, and support the firm’s long-term growth objectives.


David brings a multidisciplinary leadership background spanning financial services, law, executive operations, education, and nonprofit leadership. Prior to joining The Noble Group, he served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a wealth management firm in Houston. He previously held senior leadership roles across higher education and nonprofit organizations, including Head of School, Associate Vice President of Student Affairs, and Dean of Student Success. Across these roles, he has led strategic planning, organizational transformation, compliance, team development, fundraising, and operational redesign efforts.


David is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas and has been a member of the Texas Bar since 2011. He earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, his Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education, and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Baylor University.


His writing and thought leadership focus on human flourishing, leadership, and organizational development. He is the co-author of The Maximizer Mindset: Work Less, Achieve More, Spread Joy, co-author of a published article in the International Journal of Christianity & Education, and developer of the Flourishing Framework™.


David lives in the Houston area with his wife and children. He is actively involved in his local church and is passionate about helping individuals and organizations flourish. He is especially passionate about supporting nonprofit fundraising efforts and has helped secure more than $15 million for organizations serving their communities.
