Jeff holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and the Certified Financial Planner professional designations and specializes in assisting future retirees in understanding the retirement planning process and helps active retirees with the daily necessities of customized wealth management. He also serves clients who are mid-career with high earnings and want assistance with wealth accumulation, insurance planning, education funding and other goals.
After working briefly in the non-profit sector, Jeff began his career in financial planning at Merrill Lynch in 2012, where his passion for working with people to help improve their financial position was forged. In addition to his primary role as a financial planner and wealth management advisor, Jeff became part of the management team for six Houston-area offices, in charge of the hiring, training, and coaching of advisors in those branches.
After moving to Raymond James in 2019, Jeff made the decision to move to The Noble Group in 2022 so he could provide fiduciary advice and guidance in a truly independent, customized, and personalized manner.
Jeff believes the value of a seasoned financial advisor includes, but also lies beyond the numbers, the models, the portfolios and the planning. Instead, Jeff says his experience over the years serving such a wide array of individuals, families, and corporations has taught him that the psychology of the client is the most important piece of the puzzle, and that his focus on understanding his clients and their mental and emotional biases and tendencies has been the key to his long-term success.
Passionate about education and professional development, Jeff attended the College for Financial Planning and completed extensive coursework and passed several exams to obtain his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation. He also attended Rice University for their Certified Financial Planner program. After taking seven courses and passing their respective exams, Jeff subsequently sat for and received a passing score on his first attempt for the CFP Board’s Certified Financial Planner designation, which is commonly regarded as the gold standard of professional designations in the financial planning industry. Jeff earned the Eagle Scout award in the Boy Scouts of America and continues to be involved at the Council and District levels. He also enjoys volunteering with animals and with P.M. Pals, an organization created to help improve the quality of life for children with autism and their families. He also enjoys NFL football, being active, SCUBA diving, skiing, and spending time with his parents, his two brothers, and his three nephews.
Jeff is originally from Missouri City.
