Mary Cardenas
Mary Cardenas, RICP® Manager – Branch Services, The Noble Group Branch Manager, Financial Advisor, RJFS

Mary is not only our branch manager, she is also a financial advisor who serves our wealth management clients. “I want them to live the retirement life that they want and to help make sure that those who they care for will be taken care of after they are gone,” Mary said.

In addition, she manages her daily and monthly operational duties and helps our sales assistants and advisors with any issue that might arise. She has a thirst for knowledge and reads financial industry white papers, research, articles and blogs. These have served as the foundation for her independent thinking and approach to advising.

Her career in the financial services industry spans over 30 years, including beginning her management career in 1998 and becoming the first female Hispanic branch manager at a major financial firm. She joined our team in 2016.

When she’s not busy helping our clients, you can find her volunteering at numerous nonprofit organizations around the city. She supports her neighborhood civic association, the Houston Humane Society and the Houston Food Bank.

Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan, and lived in Monterrey, Mexico, for a year and a half before her family moved to Houston in the late ’60s. Other than four years as a branch manager in Colorado, she has lived in Houston ever since.

In her free time, Mary enjoys gardening, attending concerts and shows, and spending time with her friends, parents and her “fur children,” Coco and Chico, both rescues from hurricane Katrina. A graduate of the University of Houston, Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in political science.
