Congress passed the Revenue Act of 1978 which led to the addition of section 401(k) in the Internal Revenue Code. Then came new IRS rules allowing for payroll deductions to be used to fund an employer sponsored 401(k) plan in 1981.
Then in 1986, came Tom Noble.
With more than 35 years concentrating on working with 401(k) Plan Sponsors, Tom is known around our offices as The Godfather of 401(k) or The 401(k) Guru.
Tom founded The Noble Group in 1996 with his primary niche in mind, and his leadership has allowed other advisors who joined the firm to learn and grow from his experiences. As a result, The Noble Group is a team with many knowledgeable advisors in the retirement space.
Tom evolved The Noble Group to become a well-rounded, financial services organization offering 401(k) advisory services, wealth management and financial planning. He humbly credits much of the firm’s success to the people he has chosen to surround himself with at The Noble Group.
Today, The Noble Group manages more than 150 retirement plans and $1.5 billion in assets.
Tom continues to work with Plan Sponsors and a select number of individual clients in an effort to provide the highest level of attention to their growing needs.
